Retail Tech, a leader in point of sale hardware solutions, recently expanded its integration and staging facility. With the capability to custom load operating systems and software, Retail Tech saves customers valuable resources, time and money.
Prior to the expansion, Retail Tech offered basic integration services. Upon receiving the product, Retail Tech would un-box, set-up, configure, and test the equipment, package customer purchases into a “checkstand ready” box, label and then track the shipment by S/N and stores.
Aside from basic integration, customers may now elect to have their hardware customized with store and terminal number, IP Address, Bank information, installation of additional customer owned devices, and any special instructions for store managers.

However, our customers would often have us ship these units to their corporate office or software provider for the imaging and software customization. This would require them to un-box each unit, image and customize with store specific bank data, assign register numbers etc. and then re-box and ship to the specific store.
